One week ago, I moved into a new world, both literally and figuratively.
For the next three months, I will be working at a prestigious internship in Manhattan and exploring the best and sometimes worst of the city on the weekends. I will be making tons of new friends both professionally and personally,
I guess it is only fair to mention my father is a New Yorker, so my new world was not completely unchartered. He has been sending me MTA (Metropolitian Transportation Authority) maps in the mail with all the places we went circled since I was five. I have spent great deal of time during summers and vacations in New York, but there is a completely different quality about moving here for the first time by yourself.
